The Oklahoma City Thunder and Micah Peavy have agreed to a two-way deal, league sources told @hoopshype. Peavy, the 40th pick of the 2025 NBA Draft, played in 61 games for the New Orleans Pelicans last season.

Congrats to Micah Peavy. But the Thunder picking him up should force the Pelicans to look in the mirror about how they evaluate talent.
Players like Peavy fit winning, and for a franchise that continues to preach that it wants to win, like the Pelicans under Joe Dumars, moving on from him never made sense, especially to make room for Ben Mathurin.
