Its been a difficult few days trying to process the loss of one of the nicest lads you’ll ever meet! And in a short space of time for us a brilliant team mate on and off the pitch. Life is so cruel and precious. Sleep easy big man ❤️🖤 🧤

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 Regrettably @NestonNomadsFC have had to resign from the league due to a lack of player interest. So (unfortunately for those who have played them) their results will have to be deemed null and void and the league table adjusted accordingly.

We are extremely saddened to hear the tragic news of David “Wav” Ashcroft. A legend of the local game in Ellesmere Port and a hugely popular man who will be missed by everyone who knew him. Our sincere condolences go to David’s family, friends, team mates

It’s with great regret to inform the football word that we have lost a gooden. Wav was an absolute credit and prime example of a good footballer, manager and what a man should be. From the hat to you, thank you. Cat in the sticks, gaffer, Club legend. May you rest in peace❤️

Third tough fixture on the bounce, we picked up a decent result here last season and we’re confident it can happen again tomorrow morning! #UTG 🟠⚫️
