Duncan Sheik, who had a pop smash with “Barely Breathing” in the 1990s but then found his biggest success with the long-running stage musical “Spring Awakening,” has died. He was 56. 13 years ago the Chi Duly remix album came out and the Rolling Stone remix (Enots Gnillor, which is still a vocal stim for me years later) actively triggered the longest dry spell of my life due to how much i wanted to just sit in the dark smoking weed & listening to it on repeat

Using Suno Studio for a day or so. They had me believing that producer competition was about to multiply over night, barriers to entry crashing down. No. Big learning curve, tons of error output. Same hair pulling madness as any other DAW journey. Jobs are safe for now.
