The numbers do NOT lie.
But we live in a society were #feelings are #facts and #perception is #reality.
Notable:
A police officer is eighteen and a half times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.

Tonight faith, community and elected leaders joined the @ChicagoCAPS06 & the surviving family members of Officer Krystal Rivera for a pray vigil in her honor. Her memory will be a blessing. We owe it to Officer Rivera, her daughter and her entire family to aspire to follow in her extraordinary footsteps.

An 18-year-old who went on a carjacking and robbery spree last night won’t be doing it again.
His fourth victim of the evening, a concealed carry holder, shot him dead in Humboldt Park.

I'm sick of brain-washed kids trying to add meaning to their lives by causing chaos & violence. While CPD was pulled from districts to go downtown to handle want-to-be revolutionaries, people were still being shot, robbed, and battered across Chicago.
Thank God the officers are okay. God bless CPD.
Sent in video of the officer involved shooting at 18th and Millard in #Chicago
The call was of a burglary in progress when a man wearing a ski mask shot at police and fled on foot with a gun in his hand. He then fired shots at police and police returned fire.
The offender has been pronounced.
