I’ve heard the saying that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I don’t see Him choosing the “toughest soldiers”, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I don’t see God choosing His “toughest soldiers.” But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.
I once thought I was a “tough soldier” until I met Jesus, I then realized that I’m so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I can’t do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.

What about ‘em #ClevelandIndians I mean Guardians … 👏👏👏
19 days ago, the @CleGuardians were 11 games back in the AL Central.
Tonight, they're TIED for first place!
ALT Final: Detroit Tigers 2, Cleveland Guardians 5 Team records: Tigers 85-72, Guardians 85-72 Pictured: Gavin Williams celebrates a strikeout during Tuesday's game. He wears a red Guardians uniform and a dark blue and red hat.
This is the key @KWBaseball … @JamesClear talks about this in #AtomicHabits … doing a lil bit better today than yesterday … my son cut his strikeout total in half (39>19) from ‘24 by hitting more 1st pitch strikes, not getting down as early in counts & maturing as a hitter which subsequently raised his avg 50pts (183PA’s > 191; .492>.542) … from now on I will remind my kids be a lil better today than yesterday! #StackingDays
The key to success is not just being your best, but being the best version of yourself at that moment.
If someone gave you the choice of being good, being better or being your best, what would you choose?
Most people would choose being their best.
And that’s a mistake nearly everybody in the world makes.
The reality is that you already outperformed things previously that you would have deemed “your best.”
How many times have you said that you tried your best, but in reality when you looked inside yourself you knew that there was something that was better?
Focus not just on doing your best, but continually focus on doing better.

Pretty cool map … the South is where it’s at obviously … surprised though that South Carolina, TN, Louisiana, Arkansas & OK had less than 13ea. Cyclical though. Just eyeballing the #’s, GA blew every state away based on draftees/population. Thanks @MLB @Nike
