The day it happened in front of my eyes was the when my fan caught fire, it was at night around 3am while I was fast asleep, I jumped off my bed and find a way to quench the fire, bro what if that happened while I’m not home?
Omo since then I always switch off my appliances before leaving the house.
Something very terrible almost happened yesterday and I am still in shock.
I put on the gen like always and decided to put the usual load on it. I put everything on it and it was working fine as usual but I was hearing some sound from the changeover. I went close to it and I could see tiny fire inside I switched it to the middle immediately and the fire went off.
I was really scared but few minutes later, I switched it to gen again but this time I switched off everything except light and just few seconds into it I could see the fire coming out again and I quickly switched it off.
Now the question ringing in my head is that what if I didn’t pay attention to the sound at first or what if it was NEPA and I wasn’t at home ? Omo!💔
Three years ago my dad’s childhood friend travelled to sokoto for his mums burial, little did we know that his own grave is gonna be next to his mums.
He collapsed in the burial ground and was rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead some hours later.
Yesterday, I was coming back from Abuja when I stopped at a filling station to buy fuel.
It was around 5 p.m, the sky was getting dark, and it looked like rain was about to fall.
While waiting, I noticed a black Toyota Camry at the next pump.
The driver finished fueling before me and drove off.
A few minutes later, I paid for my fuel and continued my journey.
About 15 minutes later, somewhere around Suleja, I saw something that shocked me. The same Toyota Camry had been involved in a serious accident.
The front of the car was badly damaged.
I parked by the roadside and went closer to check on the driver…….
They are coming for a lot of industries, the my are establishing themselves everywhere.
Few weeks ago, a lot of you were mocking igbo people thinking the Chinese are only here to take over the clothing business but with what i saw in Ore, Ondo State yesterday and today, they are immersing themselves everywhere and taking over a lot of industries.
Those guys are here to stay and we are all still busy fighting ourselves and doing tribalism.
As a people, we are just too dumb and short-sighted.
