Letβs jump straight into what I believe is one of the most undervalued aspects of the human experience and completely underutilized in NFT brands in general: storytelling.
Human beings are shaped by the stories we create from our experiences and share with others. When a project lacks that, it feels hollow. Thereβs no emotional foundation to build long-term trust, connection, or loyalty on top of.
Very few projects truly explore the depth of worldbuilding and lore in a meaningful way, even though Iβd argue itβs one of the most important drivers of longevity.
When a project does have strong storytelling, the entire experience feels different. Thereβs substance to connect with. Something immersive. Something memorable.
But it has to be authentic.
Not rushed. Not treated like an afterthought. The story has to reflect the core identity of the brand itself.
People in Web3 constantly reference brands like Disney and PokΓ©mon, but those brands didnβt become cultural giants overnight. They built worlds and characters people emotionally connected with for decades.
Kids grew up with those stories. Now those same kids are adults spending entire paychecks to revisit those worlds because the emotional connection never left.
Thatβs the power of storytelling.

Iβve got 3 packs personally and been buying singles because I want to complete a set I have about 40 of the cards so far. Assuming the game gains popularity and you have collectors collecting the supply of cards is also extremely low. Knowing to complete a set not including 1/1s takes over 100+ cards and knowing a lot of serious card players would want a set I donβt know there is enough to go around π€£.
Also if @mfigge uses his competitive world league of legends tourney hosting skills and creates an ultra competitive league with good top prizes yearly interest in the game could spike. Specially if the prize pool is money + apes. I can say as a card game expert thatβs really appealing.
All this has me super bullish on joining the club with my own ape really soon. Actively hunting my first mutant from @BoredApeYC

normally youβd expect the floor to drop as more supply hits from pack rips, but demand has been strong enough to keep it from sinking
a lot of people are also holding their sealed packs instead of ripping, since they earn a passive APE reward just for holding them
singles are starting to look like the next best way in

This is what a bad uninformed take looks like I donβt call stuff out but sometimes I have to. Apes got over 70% of the supply just given to them and created a fun new experience. Genuinely not sure what this post is even trying to imply.
