St. Augustine: “Remove justice, and what are kingdoms but gangs of criminals on a large scale? What are criminal gangs but petty kingdoms? A gang is a group of men under command of a leader, bound by a compact of association, in which the plunder is divided according to an agreed convention... For it was a witty and a truthful rejoinder which was given by a captured pirate to Alexander the Great. The king asked the fellow, ‘What is your idea, in infesting the sea?’ And the pirate answered, with uninhibited insolence, ‘The same as yours, in infesting the earth! But because I do it with a tiny craft, I'm called a pirate: because you have a mighty navy, you're called an emperor.’” (City of God, Book IV, Chapter 4)

Thom Tillis wants to debate taxpayer dollars, so let’s have that debate. Every deportation costs the American taxpayer about $18,000. As Secretary, I sent a clear message to anyone here illegally: leave voluntarily or face deportation. Millions chose to self-deport. Under my leadership at DHS, encouraging self-deportation saved taxpayers over $40 billion and allowed law enforcement to pursue other dangerous criminals on our streets. That doesn’t even include the costs avoided when people decided not to enter our country illegally in the first place. Tillis complains about advertising costs but conveniently ignores the taxpayer’s savings. I also cut $15 billion in lucrative contracts that the same good old boys’ companies had benefited from for years. On my watch, they had to answer for how they spent Americans’ money. President Trump promised to enforce our laws and protect Americans. I helped him deliver. Americans deserve the full record, not another self-serving television performance from Thom Tillis. January 3rd can’t come soon enough for the patriots in North Carolina that the Senator has turned his back on.

I would like to introduce you to Rosa-Luxemberg-Stiftung NYC (EIN 45-3658022), which is registered as a 501(c)(3) and also is a straight-up German-funded soft money passthrough for Die Linke, the German Communist party. I couldn't find any FARA records for any of their employees. xitter.cf/DataRepublican/status/…
🚨🧵 MAJOR BREAKING: German government has been grooming DSA leaders for over a decade, and nobody noticed? 🇩🇪 Last night, Darializa Avila Chevalier — endorsed by NYC-DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) — beat a five-term incumbent to win New York's 13th congressional district. @AsraNomani has been reporting on their ties to Cuba and the China/Singham network. But what’s not known is DSA’s deep ties to the German government. The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS) is the political foundation of Die Linke — the German parliamentary party formed from the merger of the Party of Democratic Socialism, itself the legal successor to East Germany's ruling Marxist party, the SED. Under German law, every party in the Bundestag gets a taxpayer-funded foundation. Die Linke's share is approximately EUR70MM annually. Most German party foundations sponsor conferences, publish research, and fund exchange programs. What RLS-NYC did was put its own staff inside DSA's organizational leadership — concurrently — for over a decade. In 2012, RLS opened a New York office. EIN 45-3658022. Their own annual report states: "With the help of funds from the BMZ and the Foreign Office, the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung maintains a network of international relationships. This includes financing its foreign offices." Over the last 13 years, Berlin has sent millions to this office. Despite these ties, no FARA registration for the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung was identified in the Department of Justice database. As always, patience as I pull together the thread.👇

This PERFECTLY explains why ‘The Left’ is obsessed with being morally superior “Did you ever ask yourself why it's always the weakest, least competent, and average IQ people who base their entire identity on morality and tolerance?” Here’s the psychology behind it: “Every human being carries the same deep drive to matter, to be respected, to reach something external, whether that's money, status, an attractive partner, or genuine skill at something. In the real world, all of these get measured through competence, strength, and intelligence, and that's exactly the problem for people who fall short on those measurements. They still feel the drive, but they can't reach the goal, at least not to the degree others can, and unconsciously they experience the inferiority that comes with actual objective inferiority. To avoid feeling useless and insignificant, they move the target. Instead of competence, the goal becomes being a good person, a goal defined entirely by them that requires no measurable skill, no competition, and no real work to declare victory in. This gets them the exact same feeling of accomplishment without ever having to develop any of the competence that would normally be required to earn it. That's the path the weak and the incapable take because it's the only game left where they can still call themselves winners.” You could spend 1000 years trying to come up with a better explanation for liberals and their mindset and you wouldn’t be able to, because this is it If you fail at everything else, you simply make your entire life about being “morally superior”

Hormuz Miscalculation Sec Bessent gets it. Iran has mistaken a tactical threat for a durable advantage. By repeatedly signaling its willingness to disrupt the Strait of Hormuz, Tehran hasn’t strengthened its hand, it has accelerated the market’s exit. Capital does not tolerate chokepoints; it routes around them. Saudi Arabia is expanding its East-West pipeline. The UAE has already built out Fujairah as a bypass. Iraq is revisiting overland export corridors. Every marginal dollar now flows toward redundancy, not reliance. What was once a geopolitical lever is being engineered into irrelevance. Bessent gets it: markets don’t absorb coercion, they arbitrage it away . Energy markets are not static, and they are not sentimental. The shale revolution already diluted OPEC’s grip. LNG has globalized gas. Now infrastructure is doing the same to maritime risk. Once these pipelines are built, they don’t get unbuilt. Volume shifts become permanent. Pricing power follows. Tehran’s miscalculation is classic: overplay a scarce asset, and the world invests to make it abundant. The more Iran rattles Hormuz, the faster it erodes the very leverage it seeks to exploit. In the end, this is not deterrence. Its substitution and substitution, once funded, is irreversible. Iran is underwriting its own marginalization. The US is the big winner. China the big loser. Welcome to the new great game.
Bessent on the Strait of Hormuz: The strait is never going back to the way it was because the Iranians have used, or tried to use it, as a choke point. What we are going to see over the next two years, the strait is going to become irrelevant. It is going to become just another body of water, and I would say that more than 50 or 70% of the energy that moves through the strait now is going to go through underground pipelines.

Dear socialists, When you get a minute, and that shouldn’t be hard considering most of you don’t have jobs, pop in to South Florida and find a Cuban cafe. Make sure to tell everyone there sipping their coffee how great socialism is. Let us know how it goes. Thanks!
