To the moms who struggled with weight loss after child birth, what did you eventually do that worked? 🫶

Back pain is real and deserves to be taken seriously. Gentle movement, physiotherapy and support really help. Seeking medical advice from the specialists including the anaesthetist who did the procedure is important. Information of risks and probabilities should be explored so that it’s a shared decision with the right information and support. Shout out to all the mummies who have had epidurals while in labour or spirals for cs! ❤️

I was browsing through Jumia this morning to buy a steam-pressing iron when I saw one that had just been listed.
It had no ratings and no reviews. I was seeing it at the top of the page because the vendor was running ads to promote it.
I decided to check it out, and I was hooked.
The product description was detailed and easy to understand. Everything was clearly explained, including how to operate the electric iron. They used simple English and easy to understand illustrations.
I ordered it immediately. I'll be the first person to leave a review when I receive it.
Tell people about your product as if you're explaining it to a five-year-old.
The power of a good product description! 🔥
Based on your experience, which bank would you recommend that offers the best interest rates on children’s savings accounts and investment plans?
In my opinion, it’s is important to shield your children from your money problems until they are old enough to understand. Children likes to play hero, they hate to see their parents distressed and sometimes, they see the problem of their parents as their fault.
Kids will go to different lengths (legal or illegal) to save their parents. When parents constant expose their struggles (especially financial struggles) to their kids, they indirectly make it the duty of the kids to solve it.

I never experienced any back pain at all. I think those who do are better off consulting medical professionals bcs the thing about pain is that what works for me might not work for the next person.

Some people are naturally good at noticing when a group conversation has left someone out.
They find a way to bring that person back into the discussion without making it awkward.
It's a small social skill, but it can change how welcome someone feels.

My phone lit up
It was a Whatsapp message
"Is it real, are you sure Goat Meat is 68k. Will the head, legs and internal parts be there?"
I answered.
First to know how the prospect would love to be addressed.
I found she is a Woman.
Yes Ma. Your Goat comes complete. We only remove So and so bones for ease of packing and consumption.
She was skeptical... I stay in Lagos, how will I get it.
I replied... Ma, we will deliver at your door.
She paid!
We delivered...
I went back to ask if she was pleased
She promised to refer us.
Thank you Jesus.
This should clear your doubt!

🧠 NOT ALL SEIZURES INVOLVE SHAKING!
Did you know that some seizures can begin with smelling something that isn't there, experiencing intense déjà vu, or feeling sudden fear?
These may be symptoms of focal seizures, including those associated with the temporal lobe, a brain region involved in memory, emotions, and sensory processing.
🚨WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE WARNING SIGNS?
▪️ Smelling phantom odours, such as burning rubber or smoke.
▪️ Sudden, intense déjà vu.
▪️ Unexplained fear or panic.
▪️ A rising sensation in the stomach.
▪️ Sudden changes in perception.
▪️ Staring spells or altered awareness.
▪️ Repetitive movements, such as lip-smacking, chewing, or swallowing.
WHY DOES IT HAPPEN?
Abnormal electrical activity in the brain can produce unusual sensory or emotional experiences called auras. An aura can be a focal seizure itself and may occur alone or progress to a seizure involving impaired awareness.
🩺 HOW IS IT INVESTIGATED?
Depending on the clinical history, a healthcare professional may recommend:
▪️ Neurological assessment.
▪️ Electroencephalography (EEG).
▪️ Brain MRI when indicated.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Smelling something that isn't there does NOT automatically mean you have epilepsy. Other conditions can cause phantom smells, too.
Repeated unexplained episodes, especially those accompanied by confusion or altered awareness, warrant medical evaluation.
A seizure lasting 5 minutes or longer, or repeated seizures without recovery between them, is a medical emergency.
Remember: Sometimes, a seizure doesn't look like a seizure.

From the responses so far, I think we need to ask ourselves why some women experience back pain after an epidural while others have no issues at all.
Is it related to the procedure itself, the skill of the professional administering it, the medications used, or changes that occur during pregnancy and childbirth?
Could it be a combination of these factors? Let's discuss.

My epidural didn't hurt but it did paralyze me from the neck down for about 7 hours in the ICU. However me and the baby are fine, he's 22 now.
Don't interrupt your child when they're trying to explain themselves.
Listening teaches them that their voice matters.💝
