The focus moves away from the dugout and onto the people who quietly hold Chesham United together.
Lisa Welling was there at the very beginning, a
founding player of the Women’s team, building
something from nothing.
Ray works behind the scenes, week after week,
keeping the ground, and the club, running.
While attention often falls on results, this episode
looks at the unseen work, care and responsibility that sustains a football club before kick-off and long after the final whistle.

ℹ Egg United drew level in the all-time standings in 2024, will they see victory again or will Chicken City fight back to retake their lead?
Had a great weekend on the @NWCLHop2025 catching up with so many good friends and people, pleased to see me back out hoping.
Thanks as ever to all those that organised and also to those that made it so enjoyable, all with a couple of late nights chatting over a few drinks ⚽️🍹🍹
Great result today Ireland 0-2 England for my first game in Ireland. Had a good day out, which is what football is all about. But that’s me done for at least a few weeks. Back out hopping soon
