"The story invites readers to think about the many worlds -and worlds within world s- children of migrants must navigate without losing sight of the humour, lightness and joys in the journey." - @RandaAFattah has made me cry in her endorsement of my new #loveozya novel, out May

Medicare has been Australia's universal health care system since the 1980s. RATs are a necessary part of healthcare in 2021. They play an essential and government mandated role for people who are sick or isolating. That they are not free, nationally, is offensive.

Q1. #picbookbc Fave #PictureBooks from 2021? I ❤️ wordless picture #books. The silence changes the pace & allows the #illustrations to expand beyond the pages. Freya Blackwood’s ‘The Boy & the Elephant’ is enchanting, it’s gentle quietness amplifying the tale’s magnitude + impact

Nat's calling it: The Odds by @m_stanton are the funniest Aussie kids books of the last couple of years. They're a little quirky, but if you know a kid who can appreciate humour beyond the usual, these books will have them in stitches. More on the pod: onemorepagepodcast.com/episo…

Is it normal to want to vomit every time you think about someone reading your book?? Not sure I’m coping with being on the other side of the publishing coin… bit.ly/chrenflocked
