Firstly many of us don’t want Starlink given Elon’s ability to decide whether you can have access or not.
Secondly, that’s around 3% of primary schools in the country.
It’s not an acceptable deal.
Finally, what is preposterous is Colonel KFC is still here.
US Ambassador Leo Brent Bozell III says that, as he understands it, Elon Musk offered to put Starlink free in 500 South African schools and pay for it in perpetuity. There is a disinformation and social media manipulation tactic called "mass brigading," often used by political parties and "movements" to silence dissent. It involves a group of users banding together to discredit someone expressing a different opinion by flooding their comment sections with negative comments and insults.
You know the usual culprits: the anti-democratic forces seeking to sow discord, polarise, incite and normalise violence, stifle democracy, and encourage you not to vote.
Mass brigading works because no one likes to be piled on. People self-censor to escape it.
DO NOT BE FEARFUL. DO NOT SHRINK. DO NOT SELF-CENSOR. NEVER FOLD.
