Just watched "Hellraiser: Judgment" and am pleasantly surprised. While it definitely has problems, the SFX by director Gary J. Tunnicliffe and his team are really phenomenal. Paul T. Taylor does a genuinely good job as Pinhead, and I appreciate that the film expands the lore.
Watched Rob Zombie's "Halloween 2" for the first time... I am at a loss for words at how much of a mess it is from top to bottom. The writing is all over the place, with the bold choices alienating, but then there are also eyerolling "do you get it" moments.
The first time I watched "Burn After Reading" about 15 years ago, I hated it so much because I was utterly confused. Just finished it again... I don't hate it as much, but boy does it feel like there are several chapters missing from the end.
While I like the idea behind the WaterH Boost, it genuinely is frustrating seeing how inaccurate it is. As a test, I drank 2/3 of a full bottle and it reported about 50% of that. So ultimately I'm having to manually track my intake, defeating the purpose of the product.

Sunday evening I decided to attempt a 5-day fast, which I've never succeeded in before. I'm now almost done day 4, and it's eerily easier than ever. Kind of weird how two fasts can be extremely different.
I find it so dumb how triggered some people are over this. Both Sophie and the costume look great. I'll reserve my judgement for when the final film comes out. People are just so eager to hate things for the dumbest and shallowest reasons.

For years I've considered going into politics myself, inspired by how Jack Layton was a true man of the people. I constantly see the right (both here and abroad) capitalize on a strong social media push - an ever-expanding echo chamber that fosters voter uncertainty.

I'm glad I watched the #StrangerThings documentary, because it really added some nice context. It was really cool that the main cast were all there to watch each other's final shots, even if they weren't in the scene or had already wrapped.
Major judos to Jamie Campbell Bower. I really hope his career explodes after all of this, because there's a level of commitment displayed that is palpable and energizing. It's clear that he elevated everyone around him with his presence.
