My last post was in April when I didn't know where to go next. I am now an MSc student in Health and Social Care Research. It's so hard, but I am enjoying it 😊 – at Walk Mill, England
My BSc is coming to an end so I'm looking into a Masters in research. However, I've just found 9 CPD courses I am also interested in with @Uni_Lancashire. After the NMP talk this morning, I am excited for what's next. So many options- they're not getting rid of me! #studentnurse

Our volunteers are one in 2.3 million. This is how many of you have signed up to #OurFutureHealth to help researchers prevent, detect and treat disease - but we still need more to reach our goal of 5 million.
Attended a @ukfuturehealth appointment today for research. Anyone can take part, and you get a £10 voucher (or you can donate it) once completed. More info here ourfuturehealth.org.uk/
Didn't take long and I picked a local appointment to suit me. Let's prevent disease together 💙 – at Burnley, England
Hi fellow #nursingstudents, I'm attending this event. Who else is going? invt.io/1txb0i0u228 – at Burnley, England
I've barely slept all week waiting for my reflective assignment result. I am extremely pleased with the grade I got today. Does anyone else feel sick with worrying about results? Even though I say out loud, "I just want a pass," it's a lie. I want to do well 😂 #studentnurse – at Burnley, England
My wonderful hubby got me a Kindle as my old one died a death. Any recommendations? #kindlebook #BooksWorthReading #bookspotlight #ReadingCommunity
Finished an 8-week placement on a surgical ward that's made me fall back in love with nursing. If I'm to work on a ward, that's the one! I was actually excited to wake up at 5am (I'm not an early bird). Looking forward to going back to uni for the last stretch 🙌 @UniLancs – at Burnley, England
I really enjoyed the escape room with the medical doctors yesterday @UCLanBurnley. I'm still thinking about it this morning. I find it interesting what I learn about myself and, most importantly, communicating effectively. So much fun, @UCLan – at Burnley, England
First day of my final year being a nursing student. So lovely to see everyone after a summer break. I'm feeling hopeful and determined 😊 let's do this! #adultnursing #nursingstudent #uclan @UCLanBurnley @UCLan – at Burnley, England
Finished my placement with the Research Nurses and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fascinating the work that goes on behind the scenes in trials, from screening and recruiting to follow ups. People that volunteer to take part are amazing, making a real difference in medicine @ELHT_DERI – at Burnley, England

If you know a young person who is struggling with their mental health, I recommend this site for them. My teenager finds it hard to make sense of the world and the people in it, and she's found this so helpful recently.

I am finding with this assignment how much I actually love Law and Ethics. Does this make me weird? So juicy! #studentnurse – at Burnley, England
Out with the uni ladies last night to watch Georgie Carroll. Had a fabulous evening! Very much needed 🥰 – at Burnley, England
It's been a while, so here's the update nobody asked for 🤣. Glided through to yr2 of adult nursing and had a fantastic placement in the 1st semester on district. Currently experiencing the yr2 blues, but spoke to a lovely yr3 who reassured me. Not long to yr3! #studentnurse
Something that's been niggling me on placement is patients telling me their family can only visit them now and then because of the cost of parking. Elderly people on their own all day with no visitors, so sad. I've made sure I've spent time talking to them, but it's not the same. – at Burnley, England
#WomensHealth it's so worth downloading a cycle tracker. Studying my own cycle, I've found around day 12 I am most productive, and day 19 I cry at everything! Tracking my mood has allowed me to be in control, recognising what is normal for me, and using it to my advantage 😉 – at Burnley, England
Assignment #2 submitted, and I have my results for my reflection assignment- passed 🥴😂. This student nursing malarkey is stressful #studentnurse #studentlife – at Burnley, England
Had a dream I was given a 16th century cottage from a distant relative, and when I went inside @MMargolyes was there as she came with the house 😂 welcome to the family love! – at Burnley, England
