🌌 An AI system has uncovered a new mathematical structure that finally connects quantum mechanics with gravity.
The model suggests spacetime itself may emerge from quantum information.
This could be the missing piece in our understanding of the universe..!
AI won't take your job.
A person using AI will take your job.
1850 - the power loom replaced the weaver. The weaver starved.
1908 - the car replaced the horse. The horse disappeared.
2026 - the agent replaces the average worker.
The average worker negotiates a severance.
History never asks if you're ready.
It only asks if you adapted in time.
You have roughly 24 months to become the operator.
After that, you're the overhead.
Google just did something
that should not be possible yet.
They call it magic state cultivation.
Here is what that actually means.
Every quantum computer ever built
spends most of its energy
not calculating anything.
Just trying not to make mistakes.
Up to 95% of its entire capacity
gone before a single real problem is solved.
Google just cut that error rate
40 times on their Willow processor.
40 times.
The researcher testing it said she was
seeing data that seemed to defy
the laws of physics.
She was not wrong.
She had to rebuild the theory from scratch
before she could explain what she was seeing.
Meanwhile that same week
Quantinuum hit 99.9995% accuracy.
Five errors in a million operations.
And IonQ made logical operations
74 times faster.
Three separate companies.
One week.
October 2026.
Quantum computing just had
its iPhone moment.
Most people are still asking
what a qubit is..
Earth just hit middle age.
4.5 billion years old.
Halfway through its life.
In about a billion years the Sun gets
10% brighter.
That is enough to boil the oceans.
Not eventually. Completely.
Researchers ran 400,000 climate simulations.
The atmosphere goes unbreathable
before the oceans even finish evaporating.
Complex life has maybe a billion years left
on this planet.
That sounds like a long time.
Then you realize every civilization
in human history happened
in the last 6,000 years.
A billion years ago nothing on Earth
had a spine yet.
We showed up in the last 0.004%
of Earth's habitable window.
A new qubit was just built
inside superfluid helium.
100 times fewer errors.
Than anything running today.
The thing stopping quantum computers
from breaking everything
just got 100 times harder to stop.
Quantum computers will make every password on Earth useless.
The US government knows. They signed emergency orders about it.
Most people are still using the same password from 2019.
🔭 NASA just launched a telescope
100 times bigger than Hubble.
It will find 100,000 new worlds.
First images arrive in 2027.
We are about to see the universe
in a way no human ever has.
For decades the ultraviolet sky had holes no one had time to fill.
An astrophysicist and Claude closed them in days. The next maps of the universe may not wait on new telescopes. They may wait on who can read the old data first.
An astrophysicist worked with Claude Science to create the first complete ultraviolet map of the sky. Astronomers have already created complete sky maps from radio to gamma rays. But large regions of the sky have never been observed in UV.
In today’s science blog, Brice Ménard explains how he guided Claude to find existing datasets, combine them, and fill in the gaps with statistical inference. The work would have taken humans weeks of work, but, with Claude, just took a few days while Ménard worked on other projects.
The resulting map is a useful teaching tool and an example of exactly the sort of slow, low-priority work which scientists never quite get around to, but which AI now makes feasible.

Empty space isn't empty.
It's full of quantum fluctuations firing constantly.
Scientists just used them to make a superconductor stronger.
We powered a material using nothing.
Voyager 1 left our solar system.
It runs on less electricity than 3 lightbulbs.
Built in 1977. Still calling home.
We have never turned it off.
🧠 Your brain is running right now on 20 watts.
Less than a dim lightbulb.
The most complex object in the known universe.
NASA just let an AI plan Mars drives without a human writing the route.
Not assisting. Not suggesting. Actually planning.
Claude mapped two full driving routes for Perseverance.
Humans checked it. Then uploaded it. Rover drove it.
For 60 years every single wheel rotation on every Mars rover
was decided by a human on Earth first.
That ended quietly in December 2025.
Nobody made a big announcement.
The press release was three paragraphs.
The moment machines started thinking for themselves in space
was somehow less dramatic than anyone imagined.
The universe was dirty from the very beginning.
Scientists just assumed the early universe was mostly hydrogen and helium.
Clean. Simple. Empty.
JWST just found carbon, oxygen and heavy metals in galaxies
only 500 million years after the Big Bang.
That's a problem. Those elements don't exist without stars.
Stars take hundreds of millions of years to form, explode, and scatter their guts across space..
The math doesn't work.
Either stars formed faster than physics allows.
Or something was already there before them.
We built a $10 billion telescope to confirm our model.
It contradicted it on day one.
🔭 In 1967 a graduate student found the first pulsar by looking through her data and noticing something odd.
No one can do that anymore.
Rubin Observatory is now sending out alerts for anything that changes in the sky, and it is expected to reach 7 million of them every night. Most will be false alarms. Machine learning filters have been shown to separate real from fake with over 99% accuracy.
So the next pulsar level surprise will be spotted by software first. A human only sees it if the filter decides it matters.
The first discovery needed one curious person staring at the data. The next one needs us to trust a filter nobody can check alert by alert..
I'm not sure if that's progress or just a different kind of blindness.
An AI just helped cut the atoms needed to build a quantum computer by 100 times.
Researchers at Caltech and Oratomic used to need 100 to 1,000 atoms to make one qubit. Their new algorithm needs 3.
Their first version performed about 1,000 times worse than it needed to. So they handed it to an open source tool that lets language models improve code the way natural selection improves species. Thousands of ideas later, the numbers flipped.
One author says that without the AI, his team would have tried a few ideas, watched them fail, and called the whole thing impossible.
Cloudflare has already moved its quantum security deadline to 2029. The official government deadline is still 2035.
The paper is not peer reviewed yet, so this is promising, not proven. If AI can find shortcuts humans stopped looking for here, every date we trust was set before it existed.
It didn't just survive 46,000 years.
It woke up and immediately had children.
The last time it was alive woolly mammoths still roamed the Earth.
Its descendants are in a lab in Germany right now.
Biology has no business doing this..
That object is almost certainly orbital debris.
There are 27,000 tracked objects above Earth right now.
Another 500,000 pieces too small to track but large enough to destroy a spacecraft.
At orbital velocity a 1cm fragment hits with the energy of a hand grenade.
Starship was traveling at 27,000 km/h when this was filmed.
Every UFO spotted near spacecraft in orbit has been identified eventually.
Every single one.
The universe is strange enough without needing this to be something else.
Safety platforms do not appear when AI is a toy.
They appear when the system can book, buy, write, move, and decide faster than a human can watch it.
Trust is not a slogan.
It is what you build when the thing you made can finally do damage.
Today, with over 100 industry partners, we introduced the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform, bringing together OpenShell and Sentry.
Artificial intelligence is extraordinary technology that will advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity for generations to come.
But its full promise can only be realized when people have confidence that AI is being built to be safe and deployed with wisdom and responsibility.
This is bigger than a single product. It's the beginning of an open ecosystem to build the trust layer for safe agent systems.
Together, we are building the foundation of the AI economy.
Trust and innovation are not in conflict. Safety is how trust is earned. We must build not only the most capable AI, but the most trusted AI, so that this extraordinary technology can realize its enormous promise for the world. nvda.ws/4hcoq7m
