Make America Great Again...Here's the Bill. Donald Trump promised Americans lower prices, more jobs, less government spending, and no new wars. Let's look at the numbers. When Trump took office, America's national debt was $36.2 trillion. Today, it's over $40 trillion. The federal government just ran a $1.99 trillion annual deficit. Americans are paying over $1 trillion a year in interest on the national debt alone. Elon Musk's DOGE promised $2 trillion in savings. DOGE advertised $215 billion, but government auditors uncovered billions in erroneous and unverifiable claims. Meanwhile, independent researchers estimate DOGE's actions caused over $165 billion in economic damage. Trump promised to cut energy prices in half. Electricity is up nearly 10%. Heating oil is up 64%. He promised no new wars. February 28, 2026. The United States and Israel launched strikes against Iran. March 2. American diesel was $3.90 a gallon. March 9, it was $4.86, and March 16 a steep $5.07. October 20, it's now $6.32 a gallon and climbing. By September, the Pentagon estimated $43.6 billion in military costs from the Iran war. The estimated wider economic burden on American households? Approximately $270 billion nationwide. And on October 9, Trump announced a diesel deal with Vladimir Putin to bring down diesel prices. While blaming #Ukraine for increased diesel prices. Trump promised foreign countries would pay his tariffs. Yale estimates those tariffs impose approximately $148 billion in annual costs on American households nationwide. American farmers face a projected $21.2 billion increase in production expenses this year. Farm bankruptcies increased 46% in 2025. Now the administration has announced another $8 billion in farm assistance. Trump promised deportations would create jobs for Americans. Unemployment when he took office? 4%. The latest figure? 4.2%. Congress allocated another $75 billion to ICE. Meanwhile, farmers are losing workers, and crops are being left to rot in fields. Apparently, deporting the people who pick your food doesn't magically put Americans in their place. Higher energy prices. Higher farming expenses. Higher unemployment. Trillions more in national debt. Billions allocated to immigration enforcement. Billions spent on another war. Americans were promised affordability, fiscal responsibility, more jobs, and fewer wars. These are the costs, estimates, and economic outcomes Americans are facing instead. #USA #Midterms
