Final game thoughts:
Askarov played great but offense was a no show. Generated chances but not enough. D gave up so many quality chances. So many issues. Coaching being #1 in my eyes in this game. Have been Warso defender but ice time and lines etc makes 0 sense this game.
Sharks want to play vets who can be trustworthy in d zone but all night I saw that 4th line getting dogged over and over. Yes other lines too but still. Also Sherwood for Marchment. Smith does not have top speed Sherwood does and Sherwood has wicked shot. Easy fit…..
However all that to be said today boils down to incompetent coaching. Dellandrea had a good game but should never be getting 2nd line minutes especially down 1. He can’t score. Double shift Mack as C. Don’t care. Exact same sentiment as entire 4th line.
Think Celebrini didn’t do amazing either. And all of our d an issue.
Cags played very badly. Turnovers the puck. Shot too light. Needs to get it onto net. Doesn’t flash enough of his offense.
Kesselring was good
Dickinson struggled today but still improving which I like
Start off by saying. People have said Smith doesn’t generate without Celebrini think he did good on o today. Worse on d. But he did create.
Misa did good in moments as well. Needs to improve defense but we know that.
Stenberg struggled today but he is a rook

Yah let’s get our 4th line in the game with 6 mins left. A 4th line that hasn’t scored a point all year. Smart.
I can’t logically understand why our 4th line even seeing minutes down 1 in a close 3rd period game. If Smith and Misa get jumped again I’m going to be so pissed.
Game depressing. Got to let these lines work but not a fan. We want to balance o out but we don’t balance ice time out. Dellandrea has more ice time than Misa Smith line. Dellandrea who took another awful penalty again. Again I get d draws put out d players but Delly ain’t it
Ngl Celebrini line generating no offense. Misa Smith line generating no offense. Simple fix. Move Marchment for Sherwood and then let those lines marinate.
Woah. We really doing this now. Smith and Misa could be good?????

Can tell you exactly how the new lines will go. Smith Celebrini Stenberg will get a ton of offensive chances prolly give up some chances. No offense from the next 3 lines haha and then our d pairs are all messed up. Expect Dickinson to not feel as confident bc Trouba not there.
Another hot take Will Smith most divisive player on Sharks and shouldn’t be. He plays great and it’s the highest highs. He plays bad or ok and it’s blame him for the loss or he going/should leave sj. He 21 still developing and has gotten better every year. That’s all u want.
Also hot take USA hockey u-23 talent slept on. Yes they don’t have the superstars of Celebrini Bedard or Schaeffer but they have some pretty damn good players. Will Smith, Lane/Cole Hutson, Buium, Leonard, Gauthier, Connelly, Hagens, Perrault, Cooley, and ton of goalies.
So many people saying sharks blowed lead. Yes technically they did but they pushed hard last 8 minutes. Awful d around & awful turnover. Those are small details that can be fixed. That isn’t systematic issues. Starting 4th liners in d zone with 50 seconds is systematic
Post game thoughts:
Sad loss bc the Boston kids on the team def wanted that one. Team was too soft in this game. Bruins bullied sharks in front of net. Not a great goalie game but centers defenseman too soft clearing the net.
