ALT Workshop 1 - Tuesday 2:30pm Faith Hall - Room 301E The best church movements in America may be led by today’s Gen-Z, the oldest of which is already twenty-six years old. Effective evangelism, discipleship and leadership development among emerging youth and young adults requires more than linear pathways and transactional relationships. Through Jessie’s expertise and unique blend of brain science, wilderness exploration, and Christian organizational development, you’ll discover a more comprehensive way to approach the development journey of Gen-Z and young adults that will lead to robust faith and healthier leaders for the 21st century.

ALT Workshop 2 - Wednesday 8:45am Faith Hall - Room 301E Melanie is the Director of Evangelism at Lift Church, a church planting movement of simple churches reaching primarily Gen-Z led by young adults in the Greater Toronto Area. Highly secular and post-Christian cities require missionaries that are humble and agile in their ministry approach. In this workshop you’ll not only hear the story of Lift Church but you’ll also gain a better understanding of fresher church structures that are not only gathering young people for worship but also sending them out for evangelism and mission.

ALT Workshop 3 - Wednesday 2:30pm Faith Hall - Room 301E Rick Richardson is a leading voice in helping church leaders develop communities of evangelism. Over the years Rick has helped Christians better understand the spiritual attitudes of young adults and how to more effectively speak to the issues they’re most passionate about. In this workshop, Rick gives insights from his latest research, with a racial breakdown, regarding what Gen-Zers—both Christian and non-Christian—are saying what moves them towards faith and what repels them from church.

ALT Workshop 4 - Thursday 8:45am Faith Hall - Room 301E Deconstruction has long been the activity of young people inside and outside of the church. However, this new wave of deconstruction has unique challenges that are deeply sociological and theological. Learn how church planting models from 1980-2020 are falling short in addressing this new wave of deconstruction but also why Gen-Zers represent hope, not just for new models, but also for how God is redeeming their deconstruction for the greater good of the Church in America.
