@CibrianLab we want to understand the #biological role of #Fusarium in #vanilla. We think its a natural #endophyte that goes rogue when the #microbial context changes, which would facilitate the exchange of #pathogenic #genomic regions: researchsquare.com/article/r…
The relative abundance among bacterial and fungal taxa are different among asymptomatic and symptomatic plants, but the composition is similar. Fusarium and members of its family is present in feral and cultivated vanilla plants.
