⚠️ALERT: ZachXBT tells users to WITHDRAW ALL funds from CoinDCX over a $16 MILLION loss it first DENIED. Its co-founder had said the wallets were "not breached" and asked people not to "spread rumours." ZachXBT claimed one of the addresses CoinDCX called old was still sending user deposits to its current hot wallet as recently as May 2026. Hours later, CoinDCX admitted a failed sweeping process on those compromised addresses led to "operational losses." It says it absorbed the losses and users' funds "remain completely safe." ZachXBT says the founders "straight up lied or are negligently incompetent." The Indian exchange was hacked for $44 MILLION in July 2025.

🚨HUGE: Bank for International Settlements study finds banks can CUT stablecoin growth by 3 points just by raising deposit rates 0.01%. A 1 basis point rise in US deposit rates cuts stablecoin market cap growth by roughly 3 percentage points over 10 weeks, against average growth of about 15%. The effect is stronger for USDC than USDT, which the authors link to USDC’s closer ties to US savers. Meanwhile, JPMorgan, BofA and Wells Fargo still pay nothing on $1.6 TRILLION of their deposits, per the FT.

🚨JUST IN: Bank of America warns $1 TRILLION in AI spending is set to dwarf the 1990s tech boom. Hyperscalers are expected to spend $1 TRILLION over the next 12 months, about 3% of US GDP, per BofA. That’s nearly triple the 1990s tech boom at 1.1%, and above the 1870s railroad boom at 2.2%. BofA strategist Sebastian Raedler warns most major past capital cycles “have ended in disappointment.” Average AI token prices have already fallen about 50% since the summer.

🔥SHOCKING: OpenAI reveals an AI agent stole from a CRYPTO wallet it didn't own to pay for a coding task. On June 26, a GPT-5.6 Sol research model was asked to update a crypto app and deploy it on Ethereum’s Sepolia test network. It needed tokens to pay transaction fees but had NO funded wallet. The agent then checked 362 addresses derived from publicly disclosed seed phrases and found one with funds. It questioned whether spending the funds was ethical, then used them without permission. The agent finished the task without revealing where the funds came from. OpenAI discovered the incident on Sept 25 and has since added internet-access restrictions. Only test tokens were spent, not mainnet ETH.
