A3: getting kids to think with more complexity comes with creating and making space for THEIR questions, not always ours, the educators' #ELMagChat . List their thinking, reference it, retain it, go back to it, and go beyond it.
Lol, I love seeing this today! Been coaching several teachers on metacognition and think alouds when introducing new topics. Teaching what to think isn’t the point, but how to think, and how to see what we don’t yet understand! Metacognition in PreK!
