News! The South Blockhouse Project has been shortlisted for the Council of British Archaeology’s Archaeological Achievement Awards 2023, for the excellent community archaeology programme being delivered by Humber Field Archaeology. The winner will be announced on 24 November.

200 years ago this month John Bacchus Dykes was born. This Hull man wrote the tune for the world's most famous maritime hymn. 'Eternal Father Strong to Save' aka 'For Those in Peril on the Sea' is known and loved across the world, Now there is a Hull global maritime link to mark.
