Multiple things can be true at once -The best driver doesn’t always score the most points -Car strength and manufacturer strength should be factored in when discussing best driver vs best team -I’d place Larson as a top 3 most impressive driver this year (eye test also 1200 laps led proves this) due to his teammates relative strength and Chevrolet overall being weak -NASCAR should use a real points system without resets and it should reward the best team as a whole

If you disagree with my analysis, lemme know why! I don't think we should be dismissing others for having a different opinion, so by all means let's have a conversation in the replies without insulting one another.
Yours truly breaks down the last lap at Talladega for everyone

The Chase was definitely a massive step in the right direction, but I’m sorry, it’s still not enough. I’m not even a Hamlin fan, but the final ten races arbitrarily carrying more weight than the totality of the season will always feel forced and inauthentic.
Denny Hamlin survives Talladega and will clinch the championship by starting next week at Martinsville.

Hell no. We don't. Dumbest shit ever and they're so inconsistent at policing it.

Multiple Toyota and Ford teams have been penalized following the finish of Talladega after not helping Kyle Larson. Exact penalties will be announced at a later date.

If you disagree with me, that's okay, you don't need to insult my family or friends, but my weight is okay.

The cope for Larson winning in the replies is HILARIOUS, you can't just take a single shot and not show the entire run to the line. Clear as day that Larson going below the yellow line DID NOT give him an advantage, therefore not a penalty.
Two things from NASCAR: 1. They looked at the SMT data and Stenhouse, Byron and Custer were all wide open from Turn 3 to the end of the race (none of them lifted to let Larson win, in other words) 2. They say Larson's left-side tires were on the yellow line but never below the yellow line. So they reviewed that and say it's legal.

"bUt ClAbEl BuBbA wUz pEnAliZeD fOr SoMeThInG lIkE tHaT aT aTlAnTa" Apples to oranges. Larson did not gain an advantage for going below the line here. Bubba did at Atlanta cause it set him up better for turn 3 and 4. I'm okay with both calls.

HOWEVER, I agree that the wording of the yellow line rule is stupid and the entire rule should just be tossed.
