We loved learning important first aid skills with Chase Terrace Academy's First Aid Ambassadors yesterday. The children found the session fun and informative and we were very impressed with the knowledge and skill of CT students. @The_CTA_Way

We had an amazing trip last week to @CaldmoreAcademy to meet our penpals who we have been writing to since January. A big thank you to class teacher, Mrs Bradley, and @caldmorecgarden for accommodating us and making the day so much fun.

Class 5 enjoyed careers week, finding out about lots of different potential careers. It gave them a great opportunity to ask questions and start to consider what they would like to do when they're older. Thank you to all the volunteers who came to speak to us!

Class 5 followed their own recipes to create delicious smoothies on Friday. They also worked on branding and packaging.

To finish up our topic on sustainability, Class 5 made placards to encourage others to take responsibility for protecting the environment. We discussed our slogans and why we chose them, then made ourselves heard on a march around the playground. #highfieldsgeography

Class 5 were excellent bhangra dancers and enjoyed learning about the history of the dance.

Class 5 enjoyed a visit from the animal man today, linking to our science topic: Animals including humans.

Class 5 enjoyed a trip to Chase Terrace Fire Station for the Safe+Sound event. We learnt so much about completing safe in different situations @StaffsFire
