Scott Colom, speaking now, says he’s confident “we’re going to win” in Mississippi and that they “will protect the process of this election”
He’s currently up 43 votes in his race for U.S. Senate

Louisiana’s Jamie Davis lost by less than 2 points.
Yet he was the only Democratic candidate in a close Senate race to get $0 in national ad money.

I took this photo at a @BetoORourke rally in Round Rock, TX in 2018. @jamestalarico is right beside him. Years later, he will be our next senator. I am so proud of my fellow Texans and how long we have fought to get here. 💙🥲

On Election Day, the American people spoke loud and clear: they are done with the corruption, incompetence, and callousness coming from the White House and the capitulation of Republican leaders. As I traveled the country to campaign for Democrats up and down the ballot, I witnessed the resolve of the people to turn pain into purpose, and anger into action.
I congratulate all the great candidates who ran fantastic races and the thousands of volunteers who made calls, knocked on doors, and ensured Democrats won resoundingly.
Now, the work begins to actually deliver results. The American people have elected Democrats across the country in federal, state, and local races who must be ruthless in using every lever of power to deliver economic relief for working families and hold this administration accountable for their deep-seated corruption.
The people demand nothing less.
Like y’all don’t get it. EVERY dem was scared to run against Abbott after Gina tried recruiting them so she did it HERSELF. This is almost so unbelievable but she deserved it so much
Tonight, I make a solemn promise to every single Texan. Whether you voted for me or Governor Abbott, or felt so betrayed by a broken politics that you did not vote at all.
Hear what Texas said today, loud and clear: Your government belongs to you. And as your governor, I will never forget it. There will be no special set of rules for the wealthy and powerful. No looking the other way when someone in my own party does wrong.
The trust you have placed in me tonight is not a blank check. It is a sacred responsibility. And I intend to earn it every single day.

Best two campaigns in America: Gina Hinojosa and James Talarico. Started the race unfunded and unknown, took on an entrenched establishment in the beating heart of the GOP, faced hundreds of millions of dollars in attacks, and just led the whole ticket to victory. Historic.
