Wait, wait, wait!
Everybody calm down!
There seems to be some misunderstanding, but I'm not retiring from video game music work!
I'm going to cut back a bit on my video game music work because I want to have more time to make the music I want to make. It would be difficult for me to take on the entire soundtrack of a video game because the time commitment for composing would be too long, but I would like to continue to work on jobs such as one theme song.
So, we are waiting for your offer to Nobuo Uematsu con TIKI!

Nobuo Uematsu said the Final Fantasy X theme "To Zanarkand" was not originally made for the game! #FF10
He originally made the song for a French flautist who requested a song for a flute recital in Japan. But the flautist thought the melody was too sad for the recital, so Uematsu kept it.
When work on FF10 started, Uematsu was behind and hadn’t handed in anything. The Producer came and said "anything is fine, hurry up and give us something!" When he handed in the melody they were like “this is it!” And it became the opening theme!
