FYI: Laura Owens pleaded guilty to four felony charges, including fraud, perjury, and identity theft. These charges stemmed from her years of scams and con artist behavior, during which she abused the court system to punish men who refused to date her.
Gingras posted the "I don't feel it's been fair" video publicly on his Instagram. Gingras is now facing disbarment from the @AZStateBar for his conduct defending Laura Owens.

🚨New Court Documents for the State Bar of Arizona v. David S. Gingras🚨
Omnibus Order Re: Respondent's Motions on Discovery and In Limine from PDJ Lisa A. VandenBerg, on 10/13/26.
The PDJ denied almost all of Gingras' requests regarding discovery except for ordering the State Bar to answer one of the five interrogatories submitted. The PDJ denied Gingras’ request to move beyond Tier 1 discovery, finding he failed to demonstrate that expanded discovery was necessary at this stage of the case. The PDJ also denied his second discovery motion, finding it premature, and denied his motion to present Judge Julie Mata’s testimony as mitigating evidence because he failed to explain what relevant testimony she would provide regarding the absence of a dishonest or selfish motive.

State Bar's Response to Respondent's Motion for Clarification, filed by Kelly Goldstein, on 10/16/26.
The State Bar argues that Gingras’s motion is essentially a request for reconsideration rather than clarification and largely takes no position. However, it asks that any screenshots or illustrations be limited to demonstrative purposes and comply with the restrictions under Arizona Supreme Court Order No. R-25-0013.
