This is me 20 years ago, building a F1 map with sticks and toy cars. Now attending an event at Redbull Racing watching Trackmania pros compete on maps that I've designed. I'm grateful for everything and want to thank @Wirtual and @redbullgaming for the opportunity! #redbullfaster

This change will effectively get rid of the closed periods and open applications permanently, giving mappers a chance to join when it suits them

There's a worrying trend in TM, where after a bad TOTD or even RMC track, some people will call for the mapper to - for example - never build again or uninstall the game.
This seems completely normalized, and few people seem actually interested in helping mappers improve. 1/4
