If you want more kindness in the world, you have to be willing to put more kindness into it.
It starts with you.
We spend a lot of time talking about what’s wrong with the world, how people treat each other, and what needs to change. But how often do we stop and ask ourselves what we’re contributing to it?
Be the person who checks in. The person who listens. The person who gives someone grace when they need it most. Treat people with respect, even when you have nothing to gain from it.
You never know what someone else is carrying or how much a small act of kindness might mean to them. And you may never see the impact you make, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there.
You can’t control how everyone else chooses to show up in this world. You can control how you do.
So don’t wait for the world to get kinder. Don’t wait for someone else to lead the way.
Be the kindness you want to see. Start there.
Find A Way. Every Day.

The only 4th-string QB on an active NFL roster in 2000, Brady begged scout-team guys to stay after practice in the shivering dark just to throw into the quiet cold.
“Tom might be the worst athlete to ever play in the NFL,” teammate Niko Koutouvides recalled. Deprived of raw physical gifts, Brady built an empire on 50 hours a week of film study.

I was 30 years old when I went into cardiac arrest. I spent 24 hours in the hospital, and the doctors thought they were going to lose me.
I can still remember hearing those words and struggling to believe what I was being told. I was a professional athlete. I had always pushed through pain, competed through adversity, and believed I could find a way through just about anything.
But my brain hadn’t healed from previous concussions, and I experienced what’s known as second-impact syndrome. In that moment, everything changed.
Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful to be here. Grateful for another chance, for my family, and for the life I’ve been able to live since that day.
Sometimes it takes a moment when everything is on the line to make you realize just how precious life is. I don’t take that for granted.
Adversity has a way of changing your perspective. It reminds you that you can’t control everything that happens to you, but you can choose how you move forward.
I’m still here. And I’m still finding a way.
Find A Way. Every Day.
