To blame feminism for men's unhappiness is to admit that men's happiness depended on the continued oppression on women

My son was getting bullied at his first high school by day 3, someone had made up a damaging rumour, I sent an email to everyone and the school took it seriously but I had already called the council and asked for a transfer, by day 10 he was gone, he has been thriving ever since

Women DON'T sexualise breastfeeding. It can be very painful, we get sore cracked, bleeding nipples & babies with teeth bite. We get back pain from breasts heavy with milk & embarrassment from leaking milk thro clothes. Mastitis is common & this is unpleasant & excruciating.

Their performance of My Lovin on this episode was just as fire
When En Vogue hit SNL in March 1992, they dismantled the myth that girl groups couldn’t sing full-throttle live in heels. Trading leads across Cindy, Dawn, Terry, and Maxine, their dynamic control remained untouchable—from Dawn’s raspy rock bite to Terry’s operatic belts. When they converged on the hook, their four-part harmonies locked in with their blend and zero backing tape. The album dropped 3 days later, proving to themselves and to the world just how Funky, these Divas really are.

I’m normal BTW. 54% of wives of men earning 1M or more work. Only the monitory are stay at home moms at even that level.
As much as it’s hard for you to imagine, most women don’t prefer to be stay at home moms otherwise most wives of 1M+ men would not work as there is no zip code where that is financially necessary.

People give too much power to heartbreak. If you do right by a person, and they break your heart... Yes, it hurts but you will live. You have to always believe that you will live. One person's rejection cannot, and should not be the end of you.

All of this. So unfair to have a kid and just wing it with their life in your hands.

I’m hard on parents because I don’t believe in accidentally becoming a parent that’s not a real thing. You choose to become a parent so stop sucking at it. Those kids didn’t ask you to have them and they don’t deserve to be failed by you. Loser.

mediaval muslims used to write eroticas about female characters who run lesbian sex dungeons. now they are debating whether it's haram for a woman to wear backpack since it tightens the dress a bit. might be the most terrifying sociological shift in history.

A lot of upper middle/upper class women feel this way. The myth of the “wealthy man” marrying a submissive “trad wife” just isn’t what functionally happens. Most men in that position do want to partner who’s an intellectual/social equal so she often is also highly educated and would be bored by the monotony of 24/7 childcare. Many women who could stay home but don’t tell me it makes them better moms to have something of their own and they feel more committed/present in the evening hours having had the working day. I’m giving no firm opinion on this of my own, just noticing and naming it, but the online right seems to increasingly be disconnected from this affluent suburban group of people. Many of them do vote Republican too but they don’t want to “retvn” they want their daughters to go to elite schools as much as their sons and they want to live their lives the way this post describes.

My husband makes 500k-750k. We own our house outright. We have no debt. My kids college funds are done. I still work. I have never had any desire not to, though I have worked from home for the entirety of my kids lives.
I don’t like early childcare. It’s very tedious, isolating, frustrating, boring. I simply have no desire to do it for more than 6 hours a day. After every weekend, I am glad Monday is coming because I don’t have to mind small kids for the entire day.
I would quit my job to homeschool my children age 5+, but I do not want to deal with them all day every day when they are 4 and under.

Reason I find nice men tedious is bc all their niceness is a performance hitched on your receptiveness, lack of which, they become sth different. I love me a decent man.He is who he is outside of your gaze.He might be extra sweet to you bc he likes you,but his base is decency.

One thing I would like to see more of is women being vocal about their contributions to the family. Not in a condescending or disrespectful way, but simply making sure their contributions are acknowledged. When you contribute to building a family, you or your husband should make it known.
This culture of protecting a husband’s dignity by keeping a wife’s contributions quiet is part of why people come online and act as though women contribute absolutely nothing to their families.
While he was putting most of his income into building a house, you were paying the children’s school fees, sending money to his family or yours, and keeping the household running. While he was saving up to buy a car, you were making sure the house was stocked with food. You were both building that family, just in different ways.
But because people only see the husband’s visible investments, they conveniently ignore the wife’s sacrifices. And when something happens to him, suddenly, everything is described as the product of his sweat, as though his wife was merely a spectator in the life they built together.
This is how society reduces women’s value to childbearing while overlooking their financial and non-financial contributions. It is also why widows and widowers are often treated so differently.
Women need to stop allowing their contributions to become invisible in the name of protecting their husbands’ image. A family is built by a team, and both people’s sacrifices deserve to be acknowledged

There’s a strange online behavior developing where deeply insecure and unfulfilled people build community through humiliation. Folks literally become emotionally stimulated by “correcting,” humbling, publicly dissecting people who dare to think freely or exist unapologetically.
