Happy Birthday Dad.
Your legacy becomes more important than ever. We’re seeing a whole new generation of fans finding the music. People still need something to feed their souls and help make sense of life, and your music continues to find them, leading them to the light.
This has been an amazing ride, and we’re still blown away all the time! We love you forever. Thank you so much for stopping by.

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Donna Jean Godchaux. Her unmistakable voice and radiant spirit touched the lives of countless fans and immeasurably enriched the Grateful Dead family. Her contributions will forever remain part of the tapestry that continues to be woven. We send our deepest condolences to her loved ones and ask for privacy for her family during this time.
