When you buy something and it pumps for a day but you don’t sell, it considers that negative to your port value from the next day/month. For example I’m “down 15k” from yesterday for not selling ram Altman at the 1m, even though I didn’t actually trade and lose 15k. I am a holder so plenty of that to be seen in my port in the last month.
Most of my holds are things I’ve held for weeks and months. I get callout payout and holder stock rewards from holding, I don’t have to sell if I don’t want to, and the payout allows me to size into plays I believe in.
People seem to enjoy twisting me making more on calls than from closing positions into being a bad trader- not the case at all. I could happily be more ruthless in profit and fast rotations and maybe I should.
