My coworker reported me to HR because I kept giving her the same nickname everyone else used. We’d worked together for almost two years. We ate lunch together, complained about management, and occasionally got drinks after work. Her name is Danielle, but everyone called her Danni. One Monday, HR invited me to a meeting and told me Danielle had complained about repeated unwanted comments. I was genuinely confused. I asked what comments they meant, and they said she had repeatedly asked me to stop calling her “Danni” when we were alone. I honestly couldn’t remember her ever asking me that. After the meeting, I messaged her.

My husband’s ex-wife subpoenaed my entire business after he asked the court for more custody time with their child. I’m seven months pregnant, preparing to move, and in the middle of expanding my business through a franchise. Now I have seven days to pull together records involving more than 1,000 customers because of a custody dispute I wasn’t even part of. I started my business in December last year, and it’s doing far better than I expected. I’m the one who built it, handle the marketing, generate most of our leads, manage the books and taxes, and keep the entire operation running. My husband works in sales, and I pay him through regular W-2 payroll. We also have a prenup. The business is in my name, and my husband has never owned it. When he filed for additional custody time, his ex-wife’s response was to subpoena practically everything connected to my company. She wants employee payroll records, customer names and addresses, every visit to every customer’s home, every quote and invoice, and all our business expenses. Over 1,000 customers. Seven days. When I read the demand, I honestly thought there had to be some mistake.

I'd take the money and leave feeling zero guilt the man was kind.

I had never done it before. But my landlord was threatening to throw me out, and I had no one to borrow money from. A friend told me about an app. I created an account, put up a photo, and within an hour, I got a message. The man said he would pay $400 for two hours. I accepted. When I arrived at the hotel, he was older than I expected. He was polite. He paid first, then told me to sit. We talked for a while. He asked about my life. I told him the truth — that I was only doing this because I was desperate. He looked at me for a long time, then said: “You don’t have to do this. I’ll still pay you. Just go home.” I didn’t know what to say. He handed me the money and told me to leave. I took it and left. I never opened the app again. Would you accept the money and leave, or would you feel guilty taking it when nothing happened?

My mother sold her house to my older brother for $85,000. Six months later, she called me and asked for help getting it back. At first, I assumed she was kidding. My brother had paid her in full, moved in, and spent almost $12,000 fixing the roof and replacing the plumbing. Everyone in the family knew about the deal, and my mother had signed all the paperwork. When I asked why she wanted the house returned, she said my brother had promised she could live there for the rest of her life. “He's changed since he got the deed,” she said. “Now he treats me like a tenant.” I called my brother. He told me she had started expecting him to pay for renovations, handle her personal expenses, and give her money whenever she asked....

She hadn't told my brother about the earlier agreement. She hadn't told the couple about my brother, either. And once the first buyers asked for their deposit back, she stopped taking their calls. My brother hired a lawyer of his own, and the competing claims were sent out for review. For weeks, nobody in the family spoke to my mother about the house. Then my younger sister called me. She said my mother had asked her to give back the $50,000 she'd received. I asked her why. My sister paused before she answered. “Because Mum says the money wasn't a gift. She says I was meant to use it to buy the house from her after your brother moved out.” I asked whether she'd known about the first buyers. “No,” she said. “But there's something else you need to know.” She told me my mother had recently asked her to sign a document saying the $50,000 was a loan, not a gift. The document was dated six months earlier. My sister hadn't signed it. Then she texted me a photograph of the paper. At the bottom, next to the signature line, was my name.

Their signed purchase agreement was dated two months before my brother's sale. They had also paid a $15,000 deposit. Thinking it was probably some kind of mix-up, I asked my mother about it. She immediately became defensive. She said the first couple had taken too long to complete the purchase, so she had chosen to sell the property to my brother instead. She said she had intended to return their deposit but hadn't had the money to do it. My brother was furious. “If they sue over the house, I could lose everything,” he said. “I paid her. I have the deed. What else was I supposed to do?” We thought things couldn't possibly get worse. Then the lawyer called with another piece of information. The first couple hadn't merely signed an agreement. Before paying the deposit, they had paid for a property search. The search confirmed that the house was still registered under my mother's name at that point. They had no reason to think another sale was about to happen. When I confronted my mother, she eventually admitted she'd accepted both offers. She was desperate for money and had convinced herself the first deal would collapse.....

“She sold me the house,” he said. “I didn't buy the right to become her personal bank account.” Honestly, I wasn't sure who was telling the truth, so I asked to see the agreement. My brother sent me a copy. The sale was simple and clear. Nothing in it said he had to pay her expenses or provide her with a place to live for the rest of her life. My mother still insisted they had made a separate verbal promise that wasn't included in the contract. A week later, she asked me to go with her to a lawyer. She said she wanted to know whether she could challenge the sale by claiming she had been emotionally pressured into signing it. The lawyer looked over the documents and then asked her several questions about the payment. She answered his questions without hesitation until he asked what had happened to the $85,000. She told him she had put most of it into savings. That night, I asked her if that was really true. She confessed that she had given $50,000 to my younger sister to help with a house purchase, used another $20,000 to clear personal debts, and spent the remainder on living expenses. I was taken aback, but I didn't blame her. The money belonged to her. Then my brother called again. A lawyer representing a couple had sent him a letter. They claimed they had already bought the same property from my mother......

He comes over just to use my mouth... We’ve known each other for about five years and always got along really well, but we never crossed that line. There was always some joke here and there, but nothing serious ever happened. A couple months ago he came over one evening because his girlfriend was out of town. We were just hanging out, drinking, and at some point the conversation got pretty personal. He mentioned that his girlfriend isn’t really into giving head and barely does it. I made a joke about how I actually enjoy it, and he said something like “yeah right, you wouldn’t be able to handle it anyway.”

I cried in a store's mother's room yesterday with my baby screaming in my arms, and it wasn't because of the baby. I'm seven months into breastfeeding. My son is 20 pounds, and he wants to be held every second he's awake. My back is wrecked. My feet hurt. I haven't slept more than three hours in a row since he was born, and I'm not saying that for sympathy. It's just what my body feels like right now. My husband works nights, so grocery runs are on me. I try to get them done between feedings, which is a joke, because my son eats every two hours like clockwork. I was halfway through the cereal aisle when he started rooting against my shirt, and I knew I had about five minutes before he lost it. The superstore has a nursing and changing room in the back by the pharmacy. A little room with a rocking chair, a lock, and a sign showing a mother feeding her baby. I've used it a handful of times, and honestly, it's the only place in that whole store where I can sit down and not feel like everyone is staring at me. The door was locked. I waited.

The demon looks at the priest and speaks with the voice of a child, but what comes out of its mouth is something no child should know. Father Gabriele Amorth has spent years investigating demonic possessions for the Catholic Church. He has seen enough to know that fear can be as dangerous as the evil itself. But when a young boy named Henry becomes possessed after his family moves into an old Spanish abbey, Amorth encounters something far more disturbing than an ordinary exorcism. The demon knows his secrets. It mocks his doubts and uses the boy’s suffering to break the family apart. Henry’s mother desperately wants her son back, while his sister watches helplessly as the brother she loves becomes increasingly unrecognizable. But Amorth soon discovers that the abbey is hiding a terrible history, and the demon’s presence is connected to something much bigger than one boy’s possession. What begins as an attempt to save a child becomes a battle against an ancient plan designed to weaken the Church itself. To defeat the demon, Amorth must uncover the truth buried beneath the abbey and confront the guilt he has carried for years. Because the demon’s greatest weapon is not its strength. It is its ability to make people believe their sins have left them beyond redemption. The Pope’s Exorcist (2023)

I'm 29, and my boyfriend, Daniel, is 31. From the beginning of our four-year relationship, I had been honest about one thing: I never wanted children. I loved spending time with my nieces and nephews, but motherhood was never part of my plans. I also had a hormonal condition and injuries from a childhood accident that made pregnancy potentially dangerous. Daniel knew everything about my health and my decision. In fact, he was the one who initially said he didn't want children either. We had discussed permanent birth control together, so I believed we wanted the same future. Five years earlier, when I was 24, I had unexpectedly become pregnant despite using contraception. My then-boyfriend and I agreed that an abortion was the right decision. Unfortunately, I experienced complications that further increased the risks of pregnancy. We decided to keep the experience private. I wasn't ashamed of what happened, but I didn't believe everyone I dated needed to know my entire medical history. I kept journals documenting my life, never imagining anyone would read them without permission. Then, one evening, Daniel asked whether I had ever imagined becoming a mother. I told him honestly that I hadn't. He reminded me how well I got along with children and asked what I would do if we accidentally became pregnant. I explained that I would make the decision based on my wishes and health. He went quiet. The following evening, I returned home to find him furious. He had searched through my personal journals while I was at work and discovered the account of my abortion. He accused me of deceiving him and insisted my previous boyfriend must have forced me into the procedure. When I explained that the decision had been mine, he refused to believe me. He even punched the bathroom door while shouting that I had lied about my medical condition. I stood there shocked, wondering how the man who had always supported my decision could suddenly behave this way. I still loved him, but for the first time, I felt afraid of his anger.

Three weeks ago, my wife asked me to stop calling her after work. I thought she was just stressed about her recent promotion. I never imagined that by the end of those three weeks I'd discover she had feelings for another man and had been quietly questioning our six year marriage. At first, the changes were small. She worked late more often, spent more time on her phone and seemed less interested in talking about her day. One evening, I called to ask if she wanted me to bring home dinner. She rejected the call and texted me. Wife: "Please stop calling me every evening. I'll let you know when I'm coming home." I thought it was unnecessary but I didn't argue. A few days later, she asked if I thought we spent too much time together. Me: "We're married. Isn't that the point?" Wife: "Sometimes I feel like I don't have a life outside this marriage." I told her to take whatever space she needed. That Friday, she went out with her coworkers and returned shortly after midnight. When I asked about the evening, she said everyone had enjoyed themselves and went straight to bed. The following week, I heard her speaking on the phone in the hallway. "I told you I'd call when I was alone," she whispered. When I asked who she was talking to, she said it was a colleague. Then she accused me of questioning everything she did. I let it go but something about her answer bothered me. A few days later, she left an important folder at home. I knew she needed it for work so I drove to her office to drop it off. Near the entrance, I saw her standing with a colleague I'd met once before. They were laughing at something on his phone. He reached up and adjusted her jacket collar and she smiled at him. It might have looked innocent if she hadn't immediately stepped away when she noticed me. I handed her the folder. She introduced us briefly and he greeted me politely before leaving. My wife barely looked at me. That evening, I asked her directly. Me: "Is something going on between you and your colleague?" Wife: "No. Why would you ask me that?" Me: "You act differently whenever I ask who you're talking to. And you looked uncomfortable when I arrived at your office." She became defensive. Wife: "Nothing has happened between us physically so why are you acting like I've cheated?" I hadn't mentioned anything physical. Me: "Why would you bring that up if there's nothing going on?" She looked away. After a long silence, she admitted they'd become closer than ordinary coworkers. Wife: "I didn't plan for this to happen. I know I've let things go too far." When I asked what she meant, she finally admitted she'd developed feelings for him. Then she told me their closeness hadn't started recently. They'd been talking regularly for months. And she'd been questioning our marriage before he'd ever confessed his feelings. 🧵

Which K-Drama Everyone Loves But You Absolutely Hate! Which K-drama does everyone love but you didn't like at all, and in my opinion the answer is pretty clear. The first name is Business Proposal, which I also found boring and pointless. The second name is My Demon, which I also dropped after just 2 episodes. The third name is When Life Gives You Tangerines, which in my opinion is being called slow and overrated and rightly so. And along with that, big names like Alchemy Of Souls, It's Okay To Not Be Okay and Vincenzo are also in this list, which everyone loves but I don't. But on the other hand, there are some dramas that took 3 years to finish, yet they were still liked, that point is also true.
