If Nigeria has the stability it has in 1990s to early 2000s . Believe the war in Congo would have ended long time ago. Your people are running away from their country more than any country in West Africa. Why would anyone go to the savanna you ran away from? The place where zebras hold more value than citizens. Nigerians have the biggest foreign investment in Kenya as of right now. Bigger than anything any of your citizens has ever scaled up. Nigeria gave major military and police aid to DRC in the early 1960s. From 1960-64 (including 1963) it sent five battalions plus ~400 police under ONUC, trained Congolese police, helped keep order, and spent over $40m. In 1963 Balewa offered to keep troops after any UN pullout. Nigeria remains a long-time UN peacekeeping contributor, with a small MONUSCO presence. In 2001 Obasanjo offered troops to MONUC if peace held.
