Supported by Arts Council England, Streaming Blue explores our local connection to waterways through music, installation & discussion. It is curated with local artists & Groundwork Manchester. This event is built around the stories of local residents, collected throughout 2021. Graphic scores by children at Crumpsall Youth Group, drawn after a visit to the Irwell, will also be on display and interpreted by the ensemble. We're excited to present our SB commission 'Exploitation of a river: an Ode to Moston Brook' by Kelly Jayne Jones, supported by our generous Crowdfunders, alongside world premiere of graphic scores by Isabel Benito Gutierrez & works by Sarah Hennies & artist Lorna Green. Programme: Kelly Jayne Jones: Exploitation of a river: an Ode to Moston Brook (WP) Sarah Hennies: Everything Else Isabel Benito Gutiérrez: Remurmers (WP) Lorna Green: Prunings There will additionally be an installation of graphic scores created by children at Groundwork's Crumpsall Youth Group.
