One of my favorite things about @CoRoamApp is building my atlas. Seeing where I’ve roamed and picking new spots I want to explore was something worth building 🌎 🚶‍♂️

Take the street you usually walk past. There might be something worth stopping for.
A walking app should give me a reason to look up from my phone. @CoRoamApp points out the interesting street or the view I would’ve walked past, then lets me enjoy the walk.

New city. No plans. Open @CoRoamApp and start walking. CoRoam follows your lead, surfacing places to explore as you go.

The walk can change whenever you want, however you want. Any city, re-explored.
If the walk gets boring, change the vibe based on what you're feeling. When you’re done, check the atlas, see where you explored and compare or share with your friends.

What if you could explore a city without planning where to go first? Start with the map, notice what’s nearby, and let the walk take shape as you go. That’s @CoRoamApp.

I’ve spent months building @CoRoamApp one screen at a time. Most of that work lived inside my phone. I rebuilt the website so people could finally see how a roam unfolds, from stepping outside without a plan to your Private Atlas. coroam.io

I’ve been tightening @CoRoamApp full walk loop with @expo. It won’t start the walk until the map is actually ready. At the other end, the roam saves first, even if the recap is still catching up.

More walks should feel like this. Calm, private, and useful without turning the outside world into another dashboard.

The best mornings start outside.

Walk before the day starts. Walk after you eat. Walk when your brain feels stuck. It sounds too simple, which is probably why it works.

this is exactly the kind of life we want technology to support more walks, more curiosity, more time actually noticing where you are

Testing a new CoRoam navigation view. The goal is simple: less “stare at the map,” more “quick glance, better context, keep walking.”
