To all the recruits This man not only develops ball players but he is an amazing father figure, Leader, and coach. He taught me how to be a professional, a man, and one day a father figure. NIL is cool but people like THIS DONT COME AROUND TO OFTEN WHO CARE ABOUT YOU AS A PERSON!

The top-graded pass blocker in football is 38 years old. Trent Williams didn't miss a single camp practice this year. Williams even gave his younger teammates grief when they missed practices due to minor injuries while he was out there every day. #71 seems to be on a mission

Trent Williams: "The front office did their job. I'm super happy with what they did in the draft." It appears that John Lynch and Co. knocked the 2026 draft out of the park. Beyond that, 2024 and 2025 picks are shining, too. So much for the discourse!

OU’s all-time receptions leader! ☝️ @RyanBroyles was a walking highlight reel, earning the 22nd-greatest season by a WR ever. One of the most productive receivers to ever wear the crimson and cream! 🏈

My nephew Trae underwent his second kidney transplant in his short 18 year life. A very rare 1 in a million issue. I talk a lot of smack about Iowa. Reality is they have an outstanding head coach. He made a point to visit with Trea after both surgeries. Thanks Coach Kirk!

#OUDNA #Boomer One of our all time greats!!
15 years ago today: There’s breaking a record and then there’s breaking an all-time record in style. Ryan Broyles broke the FBS career receptions mark with a 57-yard touchdown catch at Kansas in 2011. Broyles finished his OU career with 349 receptions for 4,586 yards and 45 TD’s. LEGEND 🫡 @RyanBroyles

26 years ago today: Bob Stoops won in his return trip back to Manhattan. It was also the return for former K-State assistants Brent Venables, Mike Stoops and Mark Mangino, as OU beat No. 3 KSU, 41-31. The win snapped Kansas State’s 25-game home win streak and set the stage for an epic matchup against Nebraska.

Why does Gracen Halton play with such passion and joy? He and his older brother William played street football together and it was their dream to play in the NFL. William died in a car accident at the age of 10, when Gracen was 8 years old. “I hope he thinks great things of me,” Halton said. “I’ve got a lot of work to do, I’ve got to be better in aspects and parts of football and my life, but I feel like if he was here, he would be proud of me. … Without him, I wouldn’t be here, I feel like.” He's playing with joy for himself and for William. si.com/college/oklahoma/foot…

"Ben looked back before the kick and I gave him a wink and nod, and that's all it took." Do you always wink and nod at him? "No. That was just my way of saying, 'Let's go freakin' do this.' This is why you go to OU, just like Baker said, to beat Texas." soonersports.com/news/2026/1…
