Be honest and tell the player exactly why you are no longer interested.

The 6-2, 205-pound R/R third baseman posted a showcase-best 101 mph exit velo and topped the event with an 81 mph INF velo at the 2026 Southern Ohio Fall ID. Added a 63.1 mph bat speed and a 13.4 rotational acceleration, ranking top five in both categories. Also ran a 7.21 60-yard dash, finishing top five on the day. A name to know in the 2028 class.

Happy to see improvement with a 60 time 7.17, but I’m not done yet.
Also felt pretty good to hop on the mound for the first time in awhile.
