This late in the season you have to go back to 1932... Petersburg 6-1 and Hopewell 7-0-1.
I’m glad this rivalry is back to it’s former intensity. #staywithcoach

I loved this guy! Rest easy Coach! #staywithcoach
Former NC State football head coach Chuck Amato has passed away at the age of 80.
The Wolfpack legend led the program to an 11-3 season in 2002 with Philip Rivers at quarterback and led the Pack to four bowl wins in his seven years in Raleigh.

TREMENDOUS advice from @drewg03. #staywithcoach
PHENOMENAL question!!! I’ve been asking a lot of QB recently, “How do you improve mentally, when u don’t get to READ actual defenses?”
Still haven’t gotten any good answers - usually WATCH more film which doesn’t improve processing time!
When I played I would play OTHER sports - anything where I had to see, feel, respond & react to visual cues similar to playing QB!
I like it!
I read an interesting take suggesting HS head football coaches should be required to teach or work in the building to help address the transfer culture and other issues.
Growing up under my father, who was both a teacher and coach, it seemed like every coach worked in the school.
Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts. Would this help high school football, or create more problems?
