Coaches make an impact much greater than what's seen on the field.

Backup Quarterbacks:
1) Be Drew Lock…prepared, ready, and not afraid
2) Youre always one play away… be focused… stay involved
3) The moment it happens… he's out / you're in…Smile…You were made for this moment
ABP ( Always Be Prepared)!
Every one of their back foot’s hit in front of the white line. 80% of the battle is get forward at the DB. Threaten leverage. If you stay lateral you lose!
Everyone see’s his talent. Not many know just how hard he worked and the amount of hours he put in to be ELITE! Talent only takes you so far, that man knew what every cut on every run was going to look, feel, and smell like on Saturday. Very humbled to witness that first hand! #B
Bijan Robinson says NIL money can make young players think they no longer have to work or listen
“At Texas, they were always telling me, ‘Yo B, go out, bro. Have fun.’ Obviously, as college kids, we did a little bit of fun, but with me, I was so locked in.”
“They were always like, ‘Why don’t you come out?’ But then on the flip side they’re always like, ‘Damn B, I want to be where you’re at.’ I’m like, ‘You’ve got to make a choice.’ It’s always good to have fun. You have to have fun in college and experience it.”
“But at the same time, you have to be so focused and locked in and understand, especially in my position, I was trying to do big things and make it as high as I possibly could. As much as I love it for kids, they’re starting to get paid all this money and then their mentality becomes so shot.”
“They’re like, ‘I have money. I can do this. I don’t have to work as hard.’ I saw a video on TikTok the other day, and it was this college kid yelling at his coach in camp. He was like, ‘Bro, I don’t have to listen to you. I got all this money. I don’t got to listen.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s a different world. What?’ I would’ve got ripped. I would’ve got kicked off the team.”
“For me to explain that to kids now, I’m like, ‘Bro, you have to go to college for relationships and the relationship with the coaches.’ It’s cool to get money. You will get money if you perform the right way.”

Nick Saban provides #Arkansas HC Ryan Silverfield with some advice:
“When I went to Alabama, they kept telling me that’s the way we’ve always done it. And I finally said, if you say that one more time you’re fired.”
