Recruiting advice 💎:
Your pinned post shouldn’t make a coach search for anything.
Name. Class. Position. School. GPA. Verified height/weight. Contact information. Current Hudl.
If he needs five clicks to figure out who you are, you already made the evaluation harder!!

I wish more basketball players played football.. that frame x athleticism, of course you need heart and toughness.
Perspective: High school boy’s odds are roughly 1 in 900 of being drafted in football, compared with about 1 in 2,800 of being drafted into the NBA.
So the NFL route is roughly three times more likely, but both outcomes are rare.
🔥🤞🏽

Arizona LB Dash Fifita, a true freshman listed at just 5-foot-7, has the highest pass-rush grade on the team and just recorded his second sack.
The Fifita family is INSANE!

We have no idea the relationship Jason Eck has with that kid, or prior interactions that may have lead to this.
That’s holding a young man to a higher standard, sometimes we get heated but that’s to show just how important the message is!

Before your college visit:
Go to the team website.
Print out the coaches' names and photos.
Memorize them.
Last thing you want?
Having a great conversation with someone.
Then finding out later it was the head coach.
And you had no idea.
Do your homework.

Seniors: finish strong, update your film and grades, and have honest conversations with your support system about your options.
Juniors: keep building complete film and stay in touch with coaches. Start to ID camps in the spring that are a good fit.
Sophomores: develop, handle your academics, and learn the process. Don’t let offer posts rush your timeline. Camp hard in the spring.
The work after November looks different for every class.

so, season ends in November. As a Sr you should do what?, as a Jr you should do what?, as a Sophomore you should do what?

But man it sure feels like you’re bad at your job in those losing seasons

HOT TAKE:
You can be a great coach and still have a losing season.
You can be a poor coach and win a championship.
The scoreboard doesn’t always tell the whole story.

I don’t know where I’ll be in 6 months, but I pray to be richer, smarter, fitter and better.
