Today marks the 9th annual NFL Women’s Forum, a space Sam created to facilitate networking, education and empowerment for women in football.
The program’s impact transcends all 32 clubs: women occupy scouting and personnel roles on all teams; there are more women in coaching roles than any league in the world and in the past five years the NFL has seen a 189% increase of women in football roles.
On a day showcasing Sam’s trailblazing and the ways in which she is changing the game, she asked for a moment of our interview to shoutout our founder, @LauraOkmin…If Sam’s passionate trailblazing didn’t paint enough of a picture, this tells you everything about WHO Sam is, and why we love and celebrate her so madly.
