Coach Jed

Took advantage of this great fall weather this week. Extra swings under the lights and a scrimmage (triple video ⬇️). Also had my first college visit 📚🤓 Final fall tournament with @OC_Bombers_SB this weekend in Linden, NJ. I’ll be pitching the 7:05pm game Saturday night.

Clips from my no hitter this past weekend. Felt great in the circle again and was able to locate my FB to both sides. CB, CH & Rise all effective. Only 2nd time throwing to Ally but it feels like we’ve done it a million times! @OC_Bombers_SB

5-1 weekend losing to a good MH Rebels team in the finals. Not bad for missing 3 of our regulars! Ran out of gas in the 5th inning after a physical soccer game friday night (Win) and 13 IP on the weekend. H: 12-for-17; 2B, 3B, 8 R. Some of my better results in the video including a SAC Fly and a soft slap. P: 3-1, 4 ER, 19K, 4 BB (video later in the week)

Was able to squeeze in some defensive reps around soccer. Not where I want to be yet but still some positives. Looking forward to our tournament this weekend in New Paltz. I’ll be starting game 3 at 1:30pm on Saturday in the circle with relief opportunities in the early games.

Enjoyed the full campus experience at @BonniesSoftball on Wednesday. Improved on some metrics… 66 MPH overhand 71 MPH Tee exit velocity Under 3.0 home-to-1B Thank you @CamdenDecker @CiaraHanson_ for the full day‼️ H, D & P Clips ⤵️

Really enjoyed all the different stations and interactions yesterday with all the @JMUSoftball staff & players. Such amazing facilities‼️ My FB in and CB away combo was working during the scrimmage. Thank you @Coach_LaPorte @samgress_ @rogerslexi25

Another great camp at @BinghamtonSOFT ‼️ Amazing facilities & awesome staff. Enjoyed the throwing and defensive progressions with @MichaelaTransue Was 2-for-2 with a 2B & BB. Threw a perfect inn with 2K. @OC_Bombers_SB @JBUMP_BU @APR_Ruggiero

Had a great day at @MaristSoftball Prospect Camp. Felt good with the bat (5 BP HR, sorry about the scoreboard 😳). Really enjoyed all the reps and always cool to be around so much talent. Line out & 1B in the scrimmage with a SB. Will post pitching clips later this week. Rossi’s Deli 🥪 - Wow! @ExYank54 @alyssaagrupp @JulianneBoltonn @OC_Bombers_SB

A couple different angles of pitching from the @MaristSoftball Prospect Camp on Saturday. FB/CB/CH/Rise. Faced 20 hitters and gave up an INF 1B and a single to CF on a change up that had to much plate. Over 10Ks. Loved the energy behind me on defense‼️

Thank you to all the coaches this morning at the 8am Sparkler Camp (Camp 6). Loved the defensive workouts, felt good with the bat and was happy with how I threw. #27 in white/black pinstripes (@OC_Bombers_SB). Guest playing with @NEGOLD15U who’s workout is 7:15pm Monday. @coachanniesmith @MattMeuchel @JustinShults33 @CoachMalveaux @KatieRepole @ShoMcDonald @djgasso @LSU_SandraMoton @Hall_J_4 @CoachJordanSB @MRhodesSmith

Colorado Sparkler ⛰️ Yesterday I did metrics testing and participated in the @NebraskaGold Organizational workout. Felt like I threw really well during my pens. Colorado Sparkler⛰️ (Day 1 - Tue) We split our 2 games. I went 3-for-4 with a 3B and 4 RBIs. In the circle I stayed out of the middle of the plate against a very good Hawaii team. 1 or 2 hard hits but mostly weak contact that found a hole (and one CO dinger 🤷‍♂️) Thanks to all the coaches who attended! @NEGOLD15U

We finished 3-2 this weekend coming up just short in the semis. Saw pretty good pitching the last 3 games and battled. Hit my 3rd & 4th HR of the summer. Weekend: H: 7-for-12, 2B, 2 HR, 8 RBI P: 10 1/3 IP, 13 H, 4 BB, 13K. Velocity was 58-61, hitting 62 a couple times. Drop (55-56 MPH) & curve (56-58) both working. Change up (44-46) looking to be more consistent. Looking forward to the ADK Fastpitch Showcase next weekend.

Happy Father’s Day! We went 3-2 at the ADK Fastpitch Showcase playing a couple 18U teams. H: 5-for-12, 2 doubles…4 well hit outs 😢 P: 2-1, 18 IP, 13H, 9 ER, 21 K FB: 59-61 MPH CB: 56-58 Rise: 55-57 CH: 48-50 MPH. Best I’ve thrown the change & rise this year. Looking forward to Colorado with @NEGOLD15U to contribute however needed.

🐻🥎 is 8-5 on the year and we had the honor of welcoming back our 1986 State Championship Team this week. I hit my 7th triple (video) of the year and my avg is .587. In the circle I have 143K in 63 2/3 IP with 6 regular season games to go.

Softball Update 🐻🥎 We improved to 6-4 in our #strikeoutcancer game. It was such an amazing turnout for our opponent’s Coach. Both schools & communities came together for a great day. This week I hit 💯 Ks for the season and 200 for my career.

Softball underway. We are 3-2 so far and I hat a great week at the plate‼️ 10-for-12 with 4 2B & 3 3B, 9 RBI. Also had 38 K in 15 /23 IP. It was a busy winter with all the bad weather and rescheduled basketball games. Was able to get alot of work in at home and still get to some @OC_Bombers_SB practices. Finished 🏀 averaging 8.5ppg while making 25 3-pointers. Softball on Monday ❤️🥎
