Greg Abbott just announced that he has called Gina Hinojosa to congratulate her on being elected the new Governor of Texas.
Holy cow.
Cowboys Notes:
Defense fantastic 1st half
Defenses horrendous 2nd half
OL is not playing well against blitzing offenses
Dak did not play well against another blitzing offense
Schotty play calling and no adjustments against blitzing is terrible
Pickens non usage is so dumb

Spurs legend Tim Duncan was spotted standing in line with other voters in San Antonio for the 2026 midterm elections.

Cowboys Notes:
Javonte is a beast! He needs to be the focus every week
Defense needs to blitz and stop playing safe going forward
Overshown did well in first action back
A win is a win but there is so much to work to be done on defense.
Can they win 2 in a row?

Such a great weekend with my girls! We fought hard all weekend and came up just short in the championship, losing in ITB. So proud of this team and the way we competed!
Pitching stats:
19.2 IP | 17 H | 28 SO | 1.70 ERA | 1.017 WHIP | 3 BB
Hitting stats:
.333 BA, .429 OBP
Cowboys Notes:
2nd week Dak can’t handle the blitz.
He is locking in on CeeDee and not feeding others enough
Barham and Downs WILL be good but growing pains in coverage is rough
We send the house and QB beat our D, but we can’t do the same
NFC Least is back
Cowboys Notes:
Ferg is not good blocking and hasn’t been reliable with his hands
Turpin turnover so costly
Lamb played tired, he did not look like he was full effort
Bland has been bad all season a drop pick 6 is what you would expect
Both INT were on WR and TE
Coaching ⬇️
Cowboys Notes:
I said Dak needed to regroup at half and HE DID! 2nd half Dak was GOOD
CEEDEE was unstoppable
Running at the goal line and scoring 3 times amazing Javonte
Bland man you have to be better
We needed this win!
Washington and Philly lost!
Schotty with another bad decision 🤦🏽♂️, Dak is shook and is missing people open. Pickens is a decoy but he is open! Missing CeeDee on TD ouch . Dak needs to regroup
Lots of people giving up on Shotty and Parker. I’m not out on them, they have learning to do and I like the culture they have created. Now learn from your mistakes and go win games
Cowboys Notes:
Bad play call, Ferg has zero reason to be getting that ball like a run play.
Dee Winters isn’t it at LB. Overshown and Barham need to be LB.
Bell isn’t it either. Bad penalties on him
Barham is a STUD
Our last goal line offense bad sequence
Need to beat Texans
Cowboys still can’t get out their own way. Play calling to penalties 🤦🏽♂️, and they are still in the game
Cowboys Notes:
Spann-Ford is a BEAST! ST and blocking, wow!
Lamb and Dak were fire 🔥
Ferg had a good game in the Red Zone
Caleb Downs is going to get better each week scary
Defense again is way more aggressive but still needs to be consistent
James pre snap communication 👍

50% cleared after Labrum surgery 4 months ago. Feels great to swing a bat again. Excited about being able to put in work. Looking forward to being back on the dirt with my team this fall.

Cowboys Notes:
Schotty set the tone with not going for it on 4th and inches
Defense more aggressive but clueless on who to cover
Pickens and Lamb drops is not how to start the season
Dak INT was bad and his fault
Not playing in preseason with new D scheme and coordinator HURT
Keep grinding, your work is going to pay off big time! Proud of you
Fun weekend at OLLU! I pitched 2.2 innings with 0 hits, a 0 ERA, and 5 SO. This morning, I had a pitching lesson with @arianah1197 where we worked on hand placement and developing my changeup. Excited to keep building! @CoachMariaWinn @McLennan_SB @CoachJ_22 @haileyyyhudson
