The stadium. The city. The people. The food. The beer. Everything.

POWERFUL: #Browns rookie WR KC Concepcion has battled a stutter his entire life but he still makes it a point to speak with the media after every game.
KC continues to show incredible courage and is an inspiration to everyone who struggles with a stutter.

This WARRIOR is coming home TODAY!!! #HappyTears – at Wauwatosa, WI
GOOD MORNING, MILWAUKEE!!!
Mac had a good night! We moved out of the PICU and up to a room on the 7th floor of CHW. Mac OF COURSE didn’t want to sleep on his hospital bed, so he cuddled up next to Annie on the couch that folded out.
He was still not a fan of being woken up by nurses to get vitals done but he was a trooper. Taking oral meds is not his favorite but we are taking it slow each time, tilting his head back and it’s getting better and better.
The HOPE is that he continues to progress really well and we can get discharged today!! Until then, snacks and Paw Patrol are on the menu this morning 🥨🐶
Oh and I have officially been kicked out of bed, too! – at Wauwatosa, WI
Mac is out of surgery and it went better than they ever expected:
There was MASSIVE amounts of scar tissue from the first surgery and they cleared that all up. Almost immediately, Mac’s spinal column potential went up 2 points which is apparently MAJOR so that’s unreal. The cerebellum tonsils were coagulated back to where they need to be and they are not touching anymore. The stent went in really well. Thank God!!! 🙏🙌🧎♂️➡️
Team Mac (which is very large today 😆) just wheeled him back for surgery. Maclin did amazingly well this morning and continued to show everyone how strong he is. – at Wauwatosa, WI
Well, we have done all the doctor visits, MRI’s, mental health sessions, and everything in between in preparation for tomorrow morning. Maclin has been so much stronger than me during all of this and he will continue to be strong tomorrow.
Surgery is scheduled to start at 9:30 AM and we will take it moment by moment from there. I talked about community in my initial post about Mac’s 2nd neurosurgery here, and that community has been nothing short of inspirational/amazing.
Tonight, we will light the same candle we did 4 years ago, say our prayers, and ask for His grace for everyone involved in this procedure tomorrow. It’s game time and I couldn’t be prouder of “Team Mac” You got this, son. Dad loves you!

Been holding on to this for a while, but 2 weeks from today, Mac will endure his 2nd neurosurgery to deal with a spinal syrinx that he developed from his first surgery.
I was looking at old pictures of his first surgery and realized just how STRONG he is. Knowing this, it doesn’t alleviate the pit I have in my stomach or some very hard thoughts that creep into your head, but it does help knowing that Mac has a strength that will carry us.
I believe in the power of community, the power of prayer, and the power of angels, both here on earth and above. Whatever the future holds, my family and myself will lean on that community and those angels both now and in the weeks/months to come.
You got this, sweet boy. You are my hero. Now and forever.
I like this more than you can ever know @Coach_BMiller
Can we award it on President’s Day in the future??? #RunTheDamnBall
