There comes a point in the summer where an extremely recruitable trait in the process is patience.
Hold the rope.
Don’t be afraid of your reflection when you reach out to schools.
Know who you are and the program you’re talking to.
Self evaluation is humbling. The fit is what gets the most out of your college career.
Go where you’re wanted. Go where you’re happy. Go where you fit.
Thank you @Markryan101010 and @BinghamtonBASE for their hospitality these past few days. Unreal facilities, unreal program and awesome camp. Grateful for our brotherhood, my friend 🙏🏻

Coach Colbert is on the road @BinghamtonBASE team camp as we hit one more event before the 250th 🇺🇸
Thank you @Markryan101010 and the Binghamton staff for having us.
The eye-test is ALWAYS the first test.
You very rarely enter “the next round” if it shows that you haven’t prioritized your physicality.
Eat-sleep-train isn’t just word-vomit.
Don’t spend hard earned money if you aren’t prioritizing passing the first test.
The eye test.
Your ability to find JOY in the process over the next 3 months has a huge impact on “what’s next”
Coaches see passion for the game instantly.
It’s also easy to see when pressure to perform impacts joy of playing the game.
Don’t forget why you grabbed a ball to begin with ⚾️

NESCAC recruiting is a different sport.
Williams, Amherst, Tufts, Bowdoin, Bates — these coaches care about:
AP course load
Whether the athlete reads
Whether the family can pay (no athletic scholarships)
Whether the kid genuinely wants the academic experience
If your son hates school, NESCAC is not the answer.
