🏈 Odds & Ends — Large Schools All-Area Team Last week we highlighted our Small Schools All-Area Team. This week, it’s time to recognize the standouts from our Large Schools: 🦅 Wahlert Catholic 🐾 Western Dubuque 🐴 Dubuque Hempstead 🐏 Dubuque Senior Over the next few days, I’ll be releasing the Dubuque Area Sports Podcast Large Schools All-Area Team. Players were initially selected using AI, based on how they ranked on their own team and across the entire Large School area in major statistical categories. I then reviewed the selections to make sure deserving players weren’t overlooked. The goal is to recognize players who were: 🔥 Team statistical leaders 📊 Top performers across the Large School area 💪 Outstanding two-way contributors 🏈 Players who had truly exceptional individual seasons Team success, efficiency, big-play production and overall impact were also considered. The idea is to recognize as many deserving athletes as possible while still keeping the team exclusive and meaningful. The selections are driven primarily by the numbers, helping take favoritism out of the process. If I use an incorrect photo, misspell a name or something needs to be corrected, please message me and I’ll get it fixed as soon as possible. Thank you for listening, following and sharing throughout the season. Congratulations to all of the athletes selected! 🏆🏈
