Last but hardly least: Three-time Pro-Bowl selection Jahmyr Gibbs and the Lions reached agreement today on a three-year, $67.5 million deal that could be worth up to $75.75 million and includes $51.5 million guaranteed, now making him the NFLโs highest-paid running back, confirmed by his @AthletesFirst agent Todd France (Toddfrance_ on IG).
I like this guy a lot! Great addition to Coach Primeโs staff

If someone advises you to play 1 sport in High School they donโt have your best interest at heart!
Yes I said it

Flush the last play.
Good or bad, it's over.
Stay in the moment.
Forget the last rep.
Lock into the next call.
The only play that matters...
is the one you're about to run.

This kinda talk gets me fired up. Starting to get that feeling again. Back in the mix, studying the details of high level ball. Learning from the best coaches and players in the world. Seasons right around the corner. Lets go!

Dingโฆdingโฆding! They are athletes who should be doing strength training. There is not a โfootballโ workout or a โbaseballโ workout or whatever sport you want to use. There is development of force production. Producing force against an increasing external resistance.

The trade is the trade.
Nobody forced you into it.
If you chose football, you chose early mornings, sore legs, long lifts, hard coaching, hot summer workouts, and the expectation that youโll show up ready to work whether you feel like it or not.
Too many people want the rewards of the trade without accepting the cost of the trade.
The truth is simple: the price was listed before you signed.
So stop complaining about what comes with the job. Embrace it. Own it. Attack it.
The trade is the trade.

Players,
If your coach moves you to a different position, donโt take it personally.
Heโs probably not moving you away from the field, heโs trying to find the spot that gives you the best chance to get on it.
Trust the process. Compete.
