Bijan Robinson says some of his teammates at Texas wanted the frat parties and the status of being a football player more than they wanted to become great
Bijan: โSometimes, teammates went to the school because of just the name. They werenโt invested in the play, they just went because they wanted to go to frat parties and say, โOh, Iโm a football player.โ Like, thatโs all.โ
โAnd I was like, โThatโs cool, but I donโt think youโre really getting nothing out of it by doing that. Donโt you want to be a great player? Then do it.โ Like, I just didnโt know where their minds were... theyโre messed up.โ

โI donโt believe you practice poorly and then just play great on game day. I donโt believe that happens and it wonโt happen over the course of time,โ Lane Kiffin
You canโt prepare below the standard and expect to perform above it.

Every team has roles. ๐ญ
Step 1: Know your role.
Step 2: Embrace your role.
Step 3: Star in your role.
And if you donโt like your current role? Thatโs fine. Work for the role you want โ but do it while starring in the role you have.
Thatโs how you earn trust, respect, and opportunity.
