High school football coaches might have the most important job in any community and it’s overlooked. They set the culture for the largest group of young men in a school. If they build good men, not just wins, that ripple hits families, schools, and the whole community.
I’ll let you know my Thanksgiving secret. When my wife is cooking and asks me to taste test, I’ll take a bite and if she asks if it needs more; salt, pepper, spice, I always say yes. This way I can get a 2nd test bite.

I recall the excitement & nerves on day 1 of school every year I was in education. Hopefully everyone is coming back refreshed, excited, and looking forward to the year ahead.
What I've also come to realize as a parent, is that Day 1 really showcases how great K-12 is and it's magnitude.

More than 500 robots from 16 countries compete in sports like soccer, running and boxing at the first World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing.
Was just reminded how much life is about perspective. Was in the gym and saw a familiar person. From his left knee down is amputated and he wears a prosthetic.
On his shirt today; “everyday is leg day!”
Guy is always smiles and positive. He’s also in incredible shape.
Great reminder life’s not all about what happens to you but how you react to it.
